Oakland Zoo Welcomes New Baby Giraffe

There is a new addition at the Oakland Zoo in California. Meet baby giraffe candy and we love the story. She was born Thursday morning and is her mother's first cat. She was about 100 and £50. She's 6.5 ft tall and her name means loved one in Swahili. That's the language spoken in Kenya where her species of giraffes are found in the wild. The zoo says quote by having giraffes at the zoo. We hope to bring appreciation and awareness to the giraffe species including the challenges that they face in the wild end quote. What a beautiful name. Um She obviously looks very healthy and I give it up for those mama giraffes buring a 6 ft plus 100 £150. Uh you know, giraffe like wow. And that's the mom. She looks, she looks great. She got right back up. But um you know, and a shout out to the zoo keepers, this can't be an easy job, especially with animals like that. I don't think I've seen many giraffes in real life. I don't think I have it all actually have you, you know, I did actually do a safari. My school sponsored me to go on a safari in Kruger National Park by Johannesburg in South Africa. I wanted to do that more than a decade ago at this point, Hannah and I saw some giraffes and they are pretty amazing creatures. Yeah, that sounds beautiful. Kristen. Definitely on the bucket list.
