A suspended judge in Oklahoma could be removed from office after an investigation into her text messages during a murder trial. In a petition filed Tuesday, the chief justice of the Oklahoma Supreme Court said he wants Lincoln County district Judge Tracy Soderstrom disqualified from holding any judicial office in the state. The probe found Soderstrom spent time on Facebook and other apps during the trial. It also looked at more than 500 messages exchanged between Soderstrom and her bailiff during the case expressing bias towards the defendant and mocking a prosecutor's personal appearance. Soderstrom has been suspended without pay pending a hearing that will determine whether she is removed from the bench.
