On A Positive Note: Local Man Surprises Kid With Cancer

Now, just before our episode comes to a close. I know, I know we're bringing you one of my favorite parts of today's episode caught being kind after a boy from Connecticut was recently diagnosed with cancer. His mom reached out to her community for help Tucker's mom, Sandy Henry posted on Facebook. She said, hey mom, my son was diagnosed with cancer this week. He can no longer play soccer. So all he wants to do is fish. We're spending a lot of time at Fish Park. I'm wondering if anyone knows if we could get an additional bench here now because the chemo treatments were taking a toll on Tucker. A bench would make fishing a whole lot easier for him. Well, the town of Fairfield stepped up in a really a touching way in a matter of days, Tucker's wish for a new bench was granted. Take a look at this seems Anthony CRE with the Fairfield Parks and Recreation department saw Sandy's Post and spring into action faster than Tucker could say fish on.
