Now our next story out of the garden state is sure to keep you on the edge of your seat. More life saving actions underway after a Toms River police officer sprang into action delivering a baby on the bathroom floor. Now, spoiler alert mama and baby are doing a ok. You spend nine months planning for for that time, you know, and not once. Do you think? Hm. You know, maybe I'll give birth in my bathroom, you know, but that's exactly what happened to Dakota and Nick Fabian when their now three week old daughter, Mia decided to join the family rinks and make her appearance into the world early. Yeah, the whole time, I'm like this is not happening. I'm like this is like this is not the plan. Some just 4:02 a.m. September 27th officer Peter Sacer who normally works the overnight shift got a call of a woman in labor with contractions one minute apart who needed a ride to the hospital. But when he got there, it was show time. Officer Pete showed up thinking he was just giving me a ride to the hospital, walked in and you know, she advised that her water had broken and that the baby was coming. A member of the police force and a father of two sprang into action and helped bring baby Mia into the world. But just moments after officer Sacer noticed the baby's umbilical cord was wrapped around her neck and she was blue. I was scared because when she came out, I saw that she was like blue purple and she didn't cry right away. I took the umbilical cord off the neck. Um, got some out of the baby's mouth. It seemed like forever, but it was only like 10 seconds. And then the baby started crying in his 20 years on the job. This is Officer Sr's very first delivery and though he doesn't like a whole lot of fanfare, he'll be pinned with this stork pin when he starts his shift tonight. It's an amazing feeling. It was incredible. You know, it's just not something you're expecting to go to work to do. The birth of baby Mia has turned these once strangers into to family. We've even dubbed Officer Sacer, Uncle Pete baby Mia and big sister Lily who slept through the entire ordeal. Now, sport I heart Toms River PDT shirts with Officer Sacer badge number. I was holding the baby and then the, the EMTS were working on um Dakota and he looked at me and I looked at him and he just gave me a big hug. It was, it was awesome. I was like, I'll never, I'll never forget that. Wow. Talk about a heartwarming story. We to go, Officer Pete and a big congrats to that new family. Especially big sister Lily to cut.
