A young boy is able to return to the sport he loved after receiving scoliosis surgery, Connecticut's newest resident "rocks",  a team of volunteers help save the life of a manatee.

Yeah. Hm. Coming up on a positive note where good news does exist, surfs up for people of all abilities. I just want to make everyone have that equal opportunity. I think it's important for anybody to be in that water in the ocean. How this teenager is changing lives by creating the nation's first adaptive surfboard over in Connecticut. This duo is making history. Good boy, buddy. She's just become one police department's first ever female K nine officer. Plus they say the second one comes quicker. You know, that was no joke. She came real quick how one baby made quite the grand entrance into the world today. Good news does exist and you've come to the right place to find it. It's time for on a positive note. Hm. Hello. Hello, I'm Jordan and thank you for tuning in. You're watching on a positive note where good news does exist. Feel good to provide you stories that will move you and inspire you. And on that note, let's jump right into our first story that is sure to do all of that. A spinal condition sidelined, one special Long Island boy for more than a year. But now thanks to his determination and one incredible team of doctors, this karate kid is back to doing what he loves. Take a look. Iman Mohamed was devastated when he started to notice his body was getting weaker and weaker. About two years ago, the young boy had always been athletic until that point, he was having a lot of back pain. He had an unsteady gate. He used to trip and fall and above all, he stopped doing what he loved and lived for. Essentially at that time, Karate, Arman had to stop the sport because of a scoliosis diagnosis. His spine was at a nearly 90 degree angle and that is when his mom took him to Cohen Children's medical center to seek help. I was very motivated to get the surgery done. I was very motivated to go back to karate, but it was brave Arman who made the decision. The preteen underwent a very risky 10 hour surgery. The surgery was a success and a year later, Arman is back to doing what he loves most. And as part of Armand's road to recovery, he got a special note with words of encouragement from the karate kid himself in a signed copy of the book waxing on my waxing on find your balance. Your along with a signed copy of the book. Arman was also gifted a poster and a real karate headband, just like the ones Macho wore in some of his biggest blockbuster hits. I'm so happy. I cannot believe I noticed me and like she's look at this. What can I say about this? Look at that smile on him. Oh, well, Arman has already shown he's got the spirit of a fighter. He tells us that one day he hopes to become a UFC champion. Now, here's another story that shines a spotlight on quite the amazing young one. Let's take a look at how this teenager is making it his mission to provide those with disabilities and opportunity to catch some waves. Check it out. 17 year old Brandon Klein has designed the first custom adaptive surfboard in the country. It comes with a carbon fiber built in seat that allows people with disabilities to enjoy as much water fun as anybody could. The team says his project is inspired by his volunteering experience where he helps a woman with disabilities with the students with surf fall. I grew up my whole life with surfing and I just want to make everyone have that equal opportunity. I think it's important for anybody to be in that water in the ocean. Well, Brandon held lots of fundraisers to make his dream of creating the adaptive surfboard a reality. Talk about changing the world. Ok. Now, little ones and big ones alike. Listen up because this next story is sure to make you smile no matter your age. There is a new resident over in Connecticut and he keeps growing and attracting new visitors every day. Well, that new resident is a snake of sorts and he's made by artists, young and old. Take a look, the green stone with googly eyes and a pipe cleaner. Tongue slithered into people's hearts. I came here when there were three rocks and now it's 600 something. Rocco, the Rock's Nick's tail contains inspiring messages, whimsical characters. I like the mutant ninja turtle one down there and tributes to the creature himself who had a humble start with the local park department interns. Sometimes we do community activities like this and they could be hit or miss. We were like, this isn't going to go anywhere. We just went out and looked for rocks. We weren't looking for anything perfect. We really didn't think it was going to catch on. But yeah, once we realized it was like huge, we were like, oh, maybe we, we started something. Nobody expected. People would just keep coming. It's the best feeling in the world. Are you going to do? I think so. I think I will. Rocco proves combining everyone's styles, hopes imagination can make magic. I think people are responding to being a community to add to something their community is building. I truly believe that's what the whole idea of how far it's grown. Oh, I just love that one. Well, we're keeping the stories of impressive young ones coming here on a positive note today over on Long Island, a band made up of people of all abilities is headed for the big stage, the family residences and essential enterprise players are headed to perform at Lincoln Center. The group was honored recently ahead of their big show. A way for us to express who we are and for everyone here to be able to show their talents and you know what they've been working on for many, many years. Well, now it's time for one of my favorite parts of the episode. Here's one good thing that's sure to resonate no matter your age location or otherwise. Ok. Well, spoiler alert, this story is sure to make your day. The Belu County Sheriff's office shared an incredible video of 12 people working together to save a manatee that was trapped on a beach in Florida. Take a look what you're coming out. The good guy, the body cam footage you just saw there shows police working with wildlife conservation and a local marine mammal stranding team to save the animal and take it to the Sea World Rehabilitation Center. Well, you know what they say, teamwork makes the dream work and boy did it when Quentin Aaron comes back to visit his home, Grower of the Bronx, he's greeted with love. The actor and singer is on a mission to return that love back to the world. My intention is to use my platform every chance I get to inject some love into the atmosphere. Aaron is best known for his acclaimed in the 2009 hit The Blind Side where he co starred with actress Sandra Bullock through the years. He's inspired others through motivational speaking and his empowerment, work to stop school bullying. Now he's pursuing his other big childhood dream, everything that the movie's done as far as inspiring and encouraging people. I wanted my music to kind of stay in that lane and do sort of the same thing. His new single lead with Love recently dropped. It's a song that represents a model of mine. Um I always intend to lead my life through love, you know. Um I'm a Christian. Um I believe God is love and that's how he wants us to be growing up. The Bronx site said he enjoyed acting, but music was always in his blood. One of the churches I grew up in salvation and Deliverance. Um I joined the choir and did all that great singing. I did over the years. He believes the message behind his music is needed more now than ever because of the recent surge in gun violence, particularly right here in the Bronx. I feel like hate is far too viral in the world we live in today and I'm trying to do the opposite. You know, I'm trying to inject more love and I'm hopefully to be able to start a movement and get people more involved in doing the same thing.
