The Tucson sector of the U.S. Border Patrol is responsible for more than 250 miles of border in Arizona, from the New Mexico state line stretching across much of the state. It's dry and hot - a desert with literal peaks and valleys. Different branches of Customs and Border Protection work together to enforce U.S. laws between ports of entry.
