Welcome back to cheddar, new strap. Everyone, there's so many events, shows, movies and holidays, to keep up with that. It can be hard to keep track of them all and with a new month, starting this week, there are a slew of things you need to prepare for so don't worry, we've got all the things you need to know on your radar for september to make sure you end summer and start the spooky season the right way. And joining us to break everything down is our resident pop culture and social media expert, Zana Allen's Dana, my friend, great to see you. You have your ear to the streets as well as in your headphones. What music should we be expecting this month? You know Hannah, I usually like to break everything down one by one, but with this month there's so much new music coming out, I'm just gonna lay it out, lay it all out for you. You know, we've got projects from quite little really. Everyone on september 9th, Ari Lennox will be dropping her new album, Age, Sex location, Ozzy Osbourne with patient number nine and john Legend with legend september 16th we have Ringo Starr with E. P three and black pink with born pink and then willow smith drops coping coping mechanism. Excuse me september 23rd and kid Cudi drops intergalactic september 30th but it wouldn't be a friday without new music, although we haven't gotten some new singles to start out the month, we did get a new super freaky music video, take a look. Okay, okay, okay, you're looking at the newest music video for Nicki Minaj's hit single, super freaky girl which debuted at number one, making her only the second female rapper ever to achieve that feat, only coming after Lauryn Hill with doo wop, that thing in 1998 and I would say that this video has a lot of barbeque or influences, but if anything, Nikki is the influence on the new barbeque or trend being as though she's been calling herself barbie for the duration of her entire career. I couldn't agree more. I think Nicki Minaj is waiting the trend here. Let's move on to what to watch this month, Dana. What should we keep our eyes on? You know, there's so much to watch. But let me tell you what, I'm really excited for it better yet, I'll show you Pastor lee Curtis child's faces allegations of misconduct. His megachurch may never be the same lee Curtis and I were gonna get to the other side. You there with a big old microphone, come in closer son. You gonna see what all the fuss is about? Show time new to theaters this weekend is my documentary honk for jesus. Save your soul starring this is us actor sterling K Brown and Regina Hall. The film follows the couple behind a megachurch in the midst of a huge scandal. That's when the first lady of the prominent southern baptist church attempts to help her husband in rebuilding their congregation. But if you're looking for something to watch with the whole family a live action adaptation to a classic, it's on its way to a streamer near you. Hello pops jumping jeepers and almost real turn around. Let me get a look at you. I will be right here when you get back, Pinocchio is running around loose without a conscience. Can you imagine the trouble he's going to get into. Wouldn't want that on my conscience. Everybody who's anybody wants to be a somebody but I want to be real Pinocchio is coming to life in the live action remake of the classic 1940 animated movie of the same name we see tom Hanks once again take on the role of Hollywood's Lovable dad this time around as Geppetto Pinocchio is separate release on Disney Plus Day, which falls on september 8th this year. Anything else? We should keep our eyes on Zanna? Well it's Labor Day weekend. So just like I told you all for the fourth of july make sure to secure their to go plates from your family barbecues also try to get a head start on the Labor Day shopping and Labor Day deals, you know, I'm buying a few items myself, I definitely need to buy a new couch, but september is a special month. Well there are several birthdays, we are celebrating Zendaya's was yesterday, september 1st Queen B Beyonce, you know, I'm a beehive member in september 4th followed by Rosie Perez, september 6th and Pink september 8th and there are many throughout the month, but let's get to the end of the month of May, My birthday is September 30 and every year I make it a point for everyone to enjoy what I calls a day safely and you know because it's a national holiday. Can we rally to get a cheddar wide day off on day day? I would love that. I would love it. I mean I'm already off, I would love if ever I'm in full support. I love Virgo season, so I love it.
