One Good Thing: Airman on Leave Surprises Family During Parade

And we know life can be pretty tough sometimes. So let's take a quick moment to share one good thing that happened out in the world today. And for a lot of us families, everything and being far from your family can be pretty hard, which is why one airman in the Indianapolis decided to surprise her parents after being away for some time, airman first class, Alexandra Gracie joined the Air Force last year and she hasn't seen her family in several months. So when she found out that she was getting leave just this week, well, she started thinking of ways that she could surprise her family. So let's show you that really amazing emotional moment right here. What do you do? Mom and dad didn't even see her coming. Now, the Brownsburg Lions Club helped coordinate the surprise. They told us here at Cheddar news that Gracie planned several weeks in advance to make that mid parade surprise a reality. The club added quote, it's extra special as she is going to be stationed in Japan later this fall. So, of course, we're very happy for your family that they were all able to reunite and of course, we thank you for your service as well.
