One Good Thing: Couple Rescues Shark Trapped in Glove

And we know life can be tough sometimes. So we'd like to take a moment to share one good thing happening in the world today. Sometimes a small act of kindness goes a very long way. A couple was scuba diving in Rhode Island when their fun excursion turned into an animal rescue mission. Deb and Steve Dean were around 35 ft under water. When they noticed this, a baby shark with a work glove trapped on its head. After a little bit of fiddling with the glove, they were able to get it off the shark's head. Thankfully, it wasn't injured and it did swim away. This is a good reminder to keep your eyes open. You never know who you'll be able to help and also clean up after yourself. If you see some plastic or anything, pick it up, I always do at the beach.
