One Good Thing: Dogs Hired to Help at Children's Hospital

And we know life can be tough sometimes. So we'd like to take a moment to share one good thing happening in the world today. The University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital recently hired two new employees who have been a major hit with patients. Nacho and corn are the first members of the hospital's new department. The Wags and Waves Facility dog program. So cute. The hospital said the two K nines will actively participate in patient care, promote healing for pediatric patients in a variety of ways. They've only been working at the hospital for about a month and already they've been a huge help to the patients and staff. You can see the smiles for both patients and staff there. Look at that moment, they're instrumental in helping encourage patient recovery, decreasing anxiety, emotional support and of course, much more and we definitely support this adorable new program.
