One Good Thing: Police Honor Retiring K9 Officer

And we know life can be tough sometimes. So we'd like to take a moment to share one good thing happening in the world today. An officer for the Virginia Beach Sheriff's office is retiring after many years on the force. So her coworkers gave her a proper send off. K nine Candy was the first narcotics detection dog at the precinct and has spent the last 10 years serving her community. Sadly, Candy was diagnosed with cancer and will be retiring. So the police department honored her last day. What a sweetie. The officers lined the hallways to show their appreciation while Candy walked with her favorite tennis ball. Thank you so much for your service. Candy.
