Oil prices are at their highest levels in years and with this week's OPEC meeting on the rocks, it's not clear what will happen next. Dan Eberhart, CEO of Canary Oil and author of "Switching Gears: The Petroleum Powered Electric Car", told Cheddar that if the OPEC countries can't come to an agreement on oil production, it's possible the world's largest producers could all begin pumping at will, causing a glut of oil and tanking prices. "Look, they're a cartel. They make more money when they work together, but if you can't get everybody on board, if you can't get everybody cooperating then it could be doomsday for them and great news for consumers, which would be good news for the economy overall in the U.S."
