Susan Panico, SVP of Strategic Solutions at Pandora, and Jonathan Eccles, Director of Product Management at the company, speak about the streaming service's "Grab Them By the Ears" Advertising Week theme. Panico says the inspiration came from the idea that earbuds function as an IV straight to the brain, which means the messaging brought through them can be even more powerful than that from video. We ask Panico how Pandora competes with companies like Facebook, which are leaders in the advertising space, especially when it comes to video. Panico adds that Pandora has 76 million active users every month and that what separates the company from other social media platforms is that music has staying power among consumers.
