Pennsylvania Primary Elections Begin With All Eyes on GOP, Dem Senate Races

Hey there asia pennsylvania and several other states have primaries up and down the ballot today, but everyone's eyes are on the two primaries in the race for us Senate. So let's break it all down. On the Democratic side, it's a race between three candidates. Lieutenant lieutenant governor, john Fetterman, representative Connor lamb and state representative Malcolm kenyatta. The three men are each running in a different lane of the party. Federman is an unapologetic progressive lamb is a moderate and kenyatta is somewhere in between. The three of them have spent the last few months trying to convince Democratic voters here in the keystone state that they will be the most electable in a general election against any of the republicans. And speaking of the republicans, they also have three major candidates to choose from. Dr Mehmet Oz, the celebrity physician, David McCormick, a former hedge fund manager and Kathy barnette whose late surge has thrown a curveball to folks who have been watching this race for months now, the defining issue in the Republican primary has been who can be the most like former President Donald trump and each of these three leading candidates has a case. Oz has trump's endorsement. McCormick has a staff full of former trump officials and Barnett has been described as the most mega of them all. Alright, Ariel, and when can we expect results in this race and others on the ballot? The polls are open from seven a.m. To eight p.m. Across the state today will likely see results start to take shape later on tonight. As election workers count all those ballots helpfully. They will be counting quickly, and we'll have some winners to talk about tomorrow, crossing your fingers there.
