Pfizer, BioNTech Seek Full FDA Approval for Coronavirus Vaccine

Pfizer and BioNTech announced this morning they initiated the application process to the FDA for full approval for their coronavirus vaccine in people ages 16 and older. The vaccine is currently authorized only for emergency use. A full approval means that it could soon be required in places like schools and that the companies would be able to market it to the general public.
