This was a stunner really across the news landscape and definitely the business landscape. So major news in the world of professional golf, the PGA tour and the Saudi Bag to live golf tour are planning to merge both tours have signed an agreement to combine their businesses into a new company. The PGA tour commissioner Jay Monahan told the associated press, the deal came together over the past seven weeks and before this, the two sides were engaged in a legal battle with liv golf accusing the PGA of anti competitive practices and the PGA countersuing liv after several high profile players defected to that organization. Well as part of the deal, both sides have agreed to drop lawsuits against each other effective immediately, a lot of money behind that live golf tour. So it will be interesting to see how the players, how their payouts might change in some of these tournaments.
