Poll: 7 in 10 U.S. Adults Believe in Angels

Seven out of 10 adults in the US believe in angels. This is according to a new A P survey that posed the question Los Angeles chaplain Jack Roger said people turn to angels for comfort, which explains why angels frequently show up in pop culture as well as the Bible. 79 9% of Americans who took the survey also said they believe in God or a higher power. Nearly 70% say they believe in the power of prayer. Fewer Americans said they believed in the devil or Satan with only 56% saying they do interesting.
