Poll: Majority Support Writers, Actors and Auto Strikes

We've been reporting on the ongoing strikes by writers, actors and auto workers. Right. Well, now a new poll finds significant public support for the strikes regardless of political party. The poll finds 58% support for the United Auto Workers Union strike against GM Ford and STIs and 60% support for the W A and S A after strikes. And we've seen strikes across industries these past few months and Americans seem to be, you know, they're on board. Yeah, I think that because a lot of us are finding out how much the CEO S are actually making and how much their workers are asking for and sometimes it's, you know, basic things like health care or, you know, higher pay. I mean, you find out your CEO is making millions and millions of dollars. I think that gets the average Joe like you and me kind of upset. I understand why Americans are agreeing with the strikes. I was struck by one of the auto workers telling me, well, we want a 40% increase and I would never in my life even demand a 40% increase. But then they put it into perspective the CEO got a 40% increase, millions and millions and millions of dollars.
