Chinese markets rallied on Monday, reflecting optimism among investors that a new round of China-U.S. trade negotiations may yield real results. But Emidio Checcone, portfolio manager of AdvisorShares DoubleLine Value Equity ETF, said he is still cautious about equities because of ongoing uncertainty in the markets, tariff-related costs and pre-buying. "We have a situation where there is a lot of pressure on both sides to appear as though you are not caving," Checcone told Cheddar on Monday. "And so the situation of an immovable object and an irresistible force is something that is a challenge to reach any sort of agreement."
