When reporters arrived at the Oval Office Wednesday, Trump said, "It’s frankly disgusting the way the press is able to write whatever they want." The Week's Editor-in-Chief Ben Frumin says this undermining of trust in the media, and graying of distinction between true and false, is a big problem for society. Frumin says the best way for journalists to earn readers' trust is to be up front about and atone for missteps.
