President Trump is reviving his criticism of fake news. When reporters arrived at the Oval Office Wednesday, Trump said, "It’s frankly disgusting the way the press is able to write whatever they want." The Week's Editor-in-Chief Ben Frumin says this undermining of trust in the media, and graying of distinction between true and false, is a big problem for society. Frumin says the best way for journalists to earn readers' trust is to be up front about and atone for missteps.
