A Utah children's book author who is on trial for her husband's murder has been accused of witness tampering. Corey Richins is accused of spiking a Moscow mule with a fatal dose of fentaNYL which led to her husband's death in March of 2022. She later wrote a children's book on grief in court documents. Prosecutors accuse her of witness tampering by creating a false story that would link her husband's death to him allegedly buying drugs. In Mexico. Richins reportedly told her brother to testify to the false story in court. Richins was arrested in May on aggravated murder charges and other charges. She's being held in Summit County jail in Park City, Utah.
