Putin Meets With Kyrgyzstan President in Rare Appearance Abroad

Earlier today, Russian President Vladimir Putin met with the president of Kazakhstan ahead of Friday's Commonwealth of Independent State Summit. The summit is Putin's first trip abroad since the International Criminal Court issued a warrant for his arrest in March of this year. Leaders from Belarus Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan Turkmen Stein and Tajikstan will also attend. Notably, the Prime Minister of Armenia will not make an appearance amid strained relations with Moscow.
