Recapping Week Six of 'The Bachelorette' 

we have a huge show ahead but we got to kick things off with between bachelorettes. Friends are getting really close to the end of Rachel and Gabby's journeys. The groups are dwindling hometowns by the way next week. But there are one or two random guys still lingering around who haven't gotten a one on one date yet. But there are still smiling their way through the process. They're still making their way through, which is crazy. And this week was filled with breakups, Covid and cheese wheels. So let's get into it. It's Gabby's week. It started with a one on one date with Nate. One of our favorites by the way. But sadly she ended things with Nate because she didn't feel ready to step into a mother role with the father of one quite yet. It's not, you know, it is and I know it's so cliche but I'm like terrified of, of not just like being a mom but being like bad at it, but I know I see you and I know you're such a good dad and I know she's so lucky to have you and really she has to be the luckiest girl in the world and she is obsessed. It was really emotional. Yeah, I see Nate assured Gabby saying when the time comes, she will be a great mom. Yeah. Now Rachel's one on one date was with 25 year old tech execs Zack. Now the duo spent the day frolicking through a field of beautiful tulips before things moved out to the hot tub. That's where Rachel and Zach sipped on some champagne. The drinks continued onto the evening portion of the date and that was where Zach told Rachel he was falling in love. Yes, he said the l word to her. I mean two lips hot tub and champagne recipe for love. Now onto the group date after. Really? Okay, so after sending Nate home, Gabby went on a spicy adventure with her remaining suitors, eric, Jason, johnny, Logan and spencer. The man answered questions about their sex lives, even picking safe words like pumpkin and cruise ship to use just in case things got too intense. The contestants then got shirtless of course and blindfolded on the floor as Gabby dripped wax on them. However, the sexy portion of the evening ended there as Logan. He tested positive for Covid. This was really dramatic. Especially because you had jesse palmer having to come over and knock on Rachel's door to tell her and Gabby's door to tell him about this. Meanwhile, in Rachel's group date, the men entered a strongman contest with lots of cheese. Look at this. Ooh, doing great! Oh, even you got it! I got it. This cheese on my back. It's like ripping my shoulder apart. You can put it down now my legs are starting to wobble. It's heavy, but I'm trying to go as long as I can for Rachel. Yeah. Even Ethan Tino and Tyler joined Rachel for a day of cheese lifting and cheese tasting. Tyler ended up getting the group date. now, the rose ceremony Tino and even got roses. Well Tino really almost barely got the rose, let's be honest here, meaning that Ethan was heading home. I love that all have no shirts on. That's the only way to lift cheese by the way. I don't know. Can we do this here in between belts? I've been promoting this for a long time. And when it came to Gabby, she felt that she could only meet three men's families. So she gave roses to eric, Jason and johnny here to break down everything from last night's episode even further as jess Ambrose, co host of the chatty broads with Becca and jess podcast, Welcome to the show. So it's good to have you here. So we gotta talk about Nate. This was really a big deal, really, sort of, felt like the front runner really from the beginning, Were you a fan of him? What were your thoughts about the break up? Because I think a lot of us were surprised that it got dumped here. I was completely shocked. I'm predicting an eric or Jason for Gabby's first pick, but I was convinced it was going to be at least in the top two. So I was surprised, like I just think everyone else was, but I do have to say as heartbreaking as this was. I had so much respect for Gabby because as a mother. I know personally, if I would have been in a situation, I would so appreciate someone really thinking of my child first because that's so important. True. That's so true. So selfless. Now, is there someone you were really rooting for, for Gabby to end up with just and why I am massively rooting for Jason. I am Jason all the way. When the season first started, I was kind of like, who's this guy? He's quiet and then of course we get the explanation from him on his one on one with Gabby that he's just very overwhelmed by the cameras. This isn't his typical environment. Um as is, I mean, is it anyone's really but he was so overwhelmed by it. And then we really hear from him about his therapy and his self work and I just feel like when he was there with Gabby, you really saw her step into her power and she was so comfortable with him. I don't know, I'm team Jason all the way. Okay, So let's talk about where things kind of got a little turn for a little weird here because Logan tested positive for Covid after the group date. But then you have Jesse palmer going to Gabby telling him or telling her that he had tested positive, but he didn't tell the guys that he basically said that Logan wasn't gonna be on the show anymore. But just kept it so vague. Was that weird how he addressed that could you believe? He said there's a situation. I'm like, if I was one of the guys, the millions of things that would be going through my mind and in fact, you even saw the men saying like, is he okay? And jesse Palmer said, yeah, he's okay. What were they thinking was going on? And I'm wondering as well, we saw so much of Logan in last week's episode and then boom, he's gone in this one, not even a moment, him addressing what's happening. It was pretty wild. That does sound pretty like they're probably just thinking like, is he okay? Like does he have a pulse? Like every like no, it just covid, you know, it was also wild is when we saw men hold wheels of cheese on their shoulders while others got wax dripped on them. I wanted between bells segment, did you have a favorite group date here, jess? You know, I was highly entertained of course, by the wax dripping, who wasn't? I wanted to hear the men reveal some of their, their secrets, you know though I appreciated that, but I do have to say with the cheese lifting date as much as Tina was upset later in the episode, I was like, at least even if Rachel ends up sending you home, you are the king of cheese and adam and you can walk away with that title. Exactly, who doesn't want to be the king of cheese here now, Tyler, by the way, got the group date from Rachel, but then it got weird because Tino basically spiraled a bit because of that. By the way, he did end up getting a rose. But what was your sort of reaction to Tino sort of going bonkers yesterday? You know, I was surprised I've been a big fan of Tina. We saw a little moment of him starting to spiral last week. And I know you know, the audience had rumblings with their feelings about that, but this week I just feel like I didn't love his reaction, but it seems very clear that the show might be getting to Tino a little more than he thought it might be. What are you most looking forward to going into hometowns? Because I know that's a milestone. Yes. Oh my goodness. I mean, I'm so the previews had me hooked. I'm fully locked in. I remember last week it looked like there was gonna be drama with Rachel and even and then all of a sudden they turned it on us and it looks like it's going to be potentially Tino and Rachel. But I will tell you the thing I am most excited about is that moment where we see that Zach's uncle is Patrick Warburton. Yes, Yes, joe from family guy. And also he's Putty from Seinfeld. Like, how weird is that? And look at this, this whole conspiracy. There was the moment where Gabby was talking to Nate. And she said it's not just you, it's me and as an eighties kid Seinfeld and I'm like, yes, exactly, It's all connected. I was like, for a moment, I was like, I think my chan my television something to my television because party is on here for some weird reason. So how do you, so how do you see this ending? Who do you think Rachel and Gabby end up with here? So I this is my guess. I believe that Rachel is going to end up with Zach and I believe that Gabby is going to end up, I want to say Jason, I have a feeling eric, I'm hoping for Jason, but I definitely think Zack with Rachel. I could see Tino being our next bachelor. As much as there's this edit happening right now where he's getting a little upset. I think what we like in our leads is where there's some emotion.
