REFORM Alliance Shares SAFER Plan To Stop The Spread of Coronavirus in Prison Population

As coronavirus continues its spread across the U.S. local officials have been releasing vulnerable, elderly and ill inmates from packed prisons. In an unprecedented effort to protect the prison population, jails in California, New York, Ohio, Texas and at least a dozen other states have freed hundreds of prisoners this week. We spoke to Jessica Jackson, Chief Advocacy Officer, the REFORM Alliance about the organization's SAFER Plan.
