Report: In-Office Workers Spending $51 More Per Day

Now, if you return to the office after working from home and feel like you're spending more money, you're not alone this year. State of hybrid work report from owl labs finds the average amount of extra money. Hybrid workers say they spend each day when working from the office is $51. It's a lot of money every day that includes $8 for parking, $14 for commuting $13 for breakfast and coffee, $16 for lunch. And for those who need it, the report finds pet care could cost another $20 on top of that. These expenses really do add up and makes complete sense. I mean, I easily spend that much. I'm sure you do too. Yes. I'm not surprised when the pandemic first here. Right. I mean, the most common things are we heard we're saving so much money, not by eating out ordering in things like that, making our own food, even though it takes up a lot of time and what not. But also a lot of people got pets, uh, at the beginning of the pandemic because they were actually able to be home to be with the pet and assist the pet, which is, of course, what the pet needs and deserves, I think Hannah. Absolutely. Absolutely. 51 bucks though. And there's really no way to cut those costs. You have to park, you have to commute. So, certainly something to keep an eye on. Definitely.
