Researcher Argues Emojis Could Help Doctors and Patients Communicate 

Researchers are exploring the idea of using emojis to help patients communicate with their physicians. A group of researchers have developed an emoji based communication system that could be a valuable tool for patients who have lost their ability to speak. One professor, his name is Kendrick Davis says emojis have universal appeal and can quote open a bridge for communication. He said emojis bypass levels of education, language and age. The findings were published in the journal of the American Medical Association. I absolutely love this story, especially if you do get a patient who may not know English very well or any language around the world to just have an emoji that everyone uses is that's the best thing.
