Retail Sales Fall Amid Pullback in Auto Sales

The auto sector, under pressure today, like the broader markets, especially after November, retail sales, did show that car sales were down quite a bit last month, shares of these automakers down between 2-3% as you see on your screen, and retail sales overall falling more than expected in November. And cars were among the categories that led the declines, while auto sales dropping more than 2.5% last month as consumers cope with high inflation and higher borrowing costs.
