Rising Gas Prices Worry Americans

And it's not just insurance premiums that are worrying Americans. Gas prices continue to remain high even after a slight decline. According to Opes, a gallon of regular gasoline averaged about $3.82 nationally. On Sunday, that's around 60 cents higher than at the beginning of this year. Meanwhile, diesel price are down 31 cents compared with early January, but they've claimed more than 40 cents from last month. And according to the Wall Street Journal, the increase in prices comes after Saudi Arabia and Russia cut oil production, which pushed up the price of oil to around $80 a barrel. And that's driving up gas prices for Americans.
