Democratic Congressman, Adam Schiff said the charges against former President Donald Trump in the January 6th probe are the most serious he has faced yet. The charges outlined in a DJ letter sent to Trump last week include deprivation of rights under color of law, conspiracy to defraud the US and tampering with a witness. Here's what Schiff had to say when asked about it on MS NB C's the Sunday show with Jonathan Capehart, the Mar A Lago documents case was a threat to our national security. It's very serious. Obviously, the multiple business fraud counts in New York are also serious, but this is essentially a set of charges revolving around his efforts to stop the peaceful transfer of power for the first time in our history. It's hard to imagine a president being involved in more serious misconduct. Trump has already been indicted in two other incidents. One for his alleged mishandling of national security documents and his role in hush money payments prior to the 2016 election.
