Scientists Say Earth Is In Ecological Danger Zone

And our planet has gotten much closer to what's called the danger zone. That's according to a new study which says Earth already surpassed seven out of eight established safety limits. A group of international scientists called Earth Commission conducted this study which was just published this week in the journal nature. It examined a number of factors like climate, air pollution and water contamination. Globally, only air pollution fell below the danger threshold. And one of the most concerning findings is that nearly two thirds of our planet fails to meet fresh water safety criteria.
