Scientists Study 6,000 Year-Old-Shoes

Would you want to walk a mile in the specific shoes we're going to show you right there. Scientists have discovered what may be the oldest known pair of shoes in Europe. And it's not just shoes, baskets and tools were found along the sandals. The items were uncovered in Spain and what translate to English as cave of the bats. The items were actually found back in the 19th century but they were analyzed recently for a new study published in the journal Science advances the study found, but the shoes actually date back around 6000 years to the Neolithic era. Now, according to experts, the items found in the cave were well preserved because of the low humidity levels. Kristen, they're really in great condition. If you take a look at those baskets, they look brand new. They are in great condition. All I gotta say is I'm thankful for evolution and happy when I get to wear my comfy shoes.
