Sealing Air Ducts With Innovation Solution to Save Energy and Money

temperatures starting to drop. Of course, because winter is upon us, you might notice some more drafts in your home as we enter these cooler months. Well, leaky air ducts and drafts can actually lead to higher energy costs. And aero seal is a company creating innovative technology to seal homes and businesses for healthy air and more cheddar or savings. So joining me now is I'm a Gupta ceo of aero seal. Thanks so much for coming on this show. How does your technology work? Sure. Thank you for having me on the show. The way our technology works is that we have invented a fixer flat for the buildings, right? Uh And for air ducts, we pressurize the air ducts in the building, inject few micron sized particles. They're very safe particles. Uh And as these particles try to escape the ductwork or the building envelope, they calculate and form the seal. So it's very simply said as a fixer flat for the buildings and adducts. Mhm. It is pretty impressive. Of course, your company heading into the winter months. Why is it so crucial for customers to take advantage of this technology as we approach winter? Of course. First of all buildings are a big problem, right? Building consumed 40% of all energy produced and 37% of that energy leaks out right from the building that's wasted. Uh And US homes 540 trillion BTUs get wasted just out of the leaking air ducts. It is the number one reason for energy waste in U. S. Homes. Uh And the other way to look at the problem is that if you have certain rooms which are hard to heat or cool or if your basement is too cold and upstairs bedroom is hard to cool. Uh That is or you have air quality issues in your home, where you're getting a lot of allergens. Uh All that is because of leaking air ducts. The way to look at the problem is that leaking air ducts does not only waste the air which you have heated or cooled and getting to the different rooms, but the return air which is leaking also is sucking in air from your addicts from your crawlspace, unhealthy air and significantly lower temperature air in winter. And that's very very hard to heat or cool as well. How much cheddar on it? Or money can people save by taking advantage of these upgrades. So people should be able to save at least a few $100 on their bill depending on how old the house is, depending how old their extract system is. If their furnaces are much more inefficient, like 80% furnace than they would save a lot more money. Right? The services that we provide them or our dealers provide them most homeowners should be able to find five years, 4-5 year payback for these services. Uh certainly a lot of money can be saved here and I think for investors and consumers uh saving money in this environment is now more important than ever on it. Uh speaking of money that your company I see has raised about 30 million to date, how are you looking to grow the company? We raised that money last year and earlier this year we have invested significantly in invest investment in R and D and innovation. So we are making our machines much faster and much better as well as we are trying to get our name out. I mean this is a big problem, most people just don't know about it, right. Uh we have seen that if a contractor who are replacing these systems in the home or repairing the system, if they offer to the homeowner, They will buy it at least 50% of the time. Right? So general awareness and getting our word out there is where we're using the money. Absolute crucial here. And I'm just curious to, in terms of other solutions that homeowners should know heading into these winter months on it, what would you recommend? Well, they should at least get their system tuned right, that make sure that you're changing your filters uh adequately and if you have older homes, make sure that uh the doors and the window seals are done better, right?
