SeatGeek Partners with Snapchat to Make Digital Ticket Stubs Shareable
SeatGeek wants to bring back the shareability and nostalgia of old-school paper ticket stubs in a digital format. The ticket marketplace is partnering with Snapchat to provide users with a "sticker" representation of a ticket stub that can be shared with followers on the social platform. SeatGeek Co-Founder Russell D'Souza says the partnership is part of a suite of features the company is rolling out geared toward "improving the day-of-event experience." That also includes information about weather and traffic that may affect ticket-buyers going to live events.
