The Securities and Exchange Commission is suing Elon Musk to compel testimony about his purchase of Twitter Musk, of course bought the company now known as X for $44 billion. Last October, the SEC says Musk defied a subpoena to testify on September 15 and has not complied with additional requests to appear since then. Regulators say Musk's ongoing refusal to testify is quote hindering and delaying the SEC staff's investigation to determine whether violations of the federal securities laws have occurred.
