Sluggish Late Summer Trading Kicks Off New Week

Welcome back to need to know everyone. I'm Christian Scher alongside Anna. Do. We are up to the races down here on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange Gram Corporation celebrating the open and consolidated water up there at the NASDAQ in Times Square. So let's take a look earlier in the day. We've been pointing to some gains, looks like kind of a flat market. The small caps underperforming today down about 6/10 of a percent. The dow technically up just about 12 points, not even 1/10 of 1% and the S and P down about 2/10 of a percent. The NASDAQ shed 3/10 of a percent. We've had very strong gains this year. So I think just kind of a bit of a breather really in the stock market heading into what could be a busier as stock market. Post Labor Day. We usually see more action and more trading.
