Solar Flare Caught on Video

Nasa's Solar dynamics Observatory captured an image of a solar flare. Wow, that was emitted by the sun last week. That was strong enough to cause radio blackouts here on earth. That is crazy. Uh This looks like from like Game of Thrones or something according to space dot com. NASA says the flare erupted from a sun spot that is seven times the width of earth and the blackout lasted about 30 minutes. Space weather dot com reported that radiation from the flare the top of earth's atmosphere and that resulted in a deep short wave radio blackout over western parts of the US and the Pacific Ocean. That is bonkers that something that far away could still have an impact on something so crazy like radio frequencies here on earth.
