The viability of space tourism is getting more realistic by the day as Jeff Bezos' Blue Origin prepares to launch New Shepard on Tuesday. Chad Anderson, the managing partner at Space Capital, joined Cheddar's Closing Bell to talk about how attractive the space tourism market already has gotten. "The pricing strategy of Blue Origin, they've really taken a more auction-based approach, which allows for a lot more pricing discovery," he said. "Now, they know that someone's willing to pay $28 million for this flight. Anything that they charge now, going forward, is going to seem like a discount in comparison." Blue Origin CEO recently revealed that 7,500 bids from 150 countries came in for that auctioned seat.
