Spookiest U.S. Towns to Visit for Halloween

Halloween is next week. And if you're looking for a spooky excursion travel market reports compiled a top 10 list of the spookiest towns and cities in America. So counting down at number 10 is Philadelphia nine is Estes Park, Colorado eight is Long Beach California. Seven is New York City. Spooky. Spooky six is Independence. Kansas five is Orlando Florida, four is Dallas, Texas and three is New Orleans, Louisiana, which I expected. Two is Salem Massachusetts also expected. And finally the top spot, it's Sleepy Hollow, New York. This is the site featured in Washington. Irving's classic tale, the legend of Sleepy Hollow. The town's official mascot is the headless horseman. And this time of year they even do performances of the story and cemetery tours. Kristen. Have you been to Sleepy Hollow? I've driven through uh Sleepy Hollow, Duarte in that famous cemetery. It's kind of just right near a main strip of road there and I didn't, I wasn't too spooked out. Granted it was in the middle of a beautiful fall day. So that probably made the difference. Uh But it is, you know, quite a charming and historical area of New York. I will tell you that not far from the city, maybe like an hour and a half or so. I loved it when I went. I didn't go on the big, big day but it was nice just walking around seeing the leaves and just seeing Sleepy Hollow. Yeah, I know. It's a great, it's a great spot for Fall.
