And news coming out of one of the nation's most prestigious colleges. The president of Stanford University has resigned after the board of trustees determined several academic reports he authored, contained manipulated data. Mark Levine resigned from his role effective August 31st. This comes after the board of trustees cleared him of alleged fraud or falsification of scientific data found in his 2009 Alzheimer's study. The board did however find that the papers had serious flaws and various errors. Tesser Levine said that he would step down for the good of the university and retract three papers that he was the principal author of. He will still however serve as a faculty member as a biology professor.
