TikTok CSO: 'We're Not Going Anywhere'
Late Thursday evening, President Trump issued an executive order that would ban TikTok from operating in the U.S. in 45 days. Trump is alleging that TikTok automatically captures information such as location data and browsing and search histories, for the benefit of the Chinese government. Roland Cloutier, Global Chief Information and Security Officer at TikTok, says the social media platform is absolutely not a threat to national security and says TikTok collects less information than most of its competitors.
