States Across the US Brace for Major Winter Storm

And millions of people in the US are bracing for a major winter storm that's set to impact areas from coast to coast. The National Weather Service warning of severe snow, freezing rain, thunderstorms and even record low temperatures. Western states near mountain ranges will be hit particularly hard with heavy snow. Already, officials in the West and the midwest warning of dangerous travel conditions that as the snow begins to fall there, the storms will sweep across the US and affect areas as far as east, as main as this week.
