So the automaker STIs said it's going to build a second US electric vehicle battery factory and in a joint venture with Samsung, it's set to open in early 2027. So the location of the plant hasn't been disclosed, but it does join a facility in Cocomo Indiana that's already under construction and slated to start production in early 2025. So the CEO said the second plant will help the automaker offer at least 25 new battery electric vehicles on the continent by the end of the decade.
