U.S. retailers have already announced more than 8,200 store closings just this year, according to Coresights Research.The latest casualty, Forever 21 announcing it would file for bankruptcy just this week, shuttering the doors of 178 U.S. stores. We spoke to Jon Reily, Executive Vice President of Retail and E-Commerce at Publicis Sapient about retail woes.

Rackspace Fails to Impress in Wall Street Debut
Rackspace Technology returned to the public market today with an initial public offering that raised $704 million-dollars, but priced at the low end of its range at $21 a share. The company Rackspace was taken private in 2016 by Apollo Group Management in a buyout valued at $4.3 billion. Kevin Jones, CEO of Rackspace, joined Cheddar to discuss.

Forever 21 Officially Files for Bankruptcy, Showing 21 Isn't Forever
Forever 21 is joining the mall graveyard. The fast fashion retailer officially filing for chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. The company plans to close most of its locations in Europe and Asia. While it won't exit any major U.S. markets, the retailer is reportedly looking to shutter up to 178 stores in the U.S. We spoke to Erin Sykes, retail expert.
