Storm Ciaran Leaves at Least 4 Dead, 15 Injured in Europe

Overseas record breaking winds swept through much of western Europe overnight and today leaving at least four people dead and injuring several others. Storm key run ravaged homes and caused travel disruptions across several European countries including France, Spain, the Netherlands and the UK. One of the people killed was a truck driver who was hit by a tree in northern France. At least 15 more people were injured in western and northern parts of France. Winds of up to 118 MPH made their way through the northern tip of France's Atlantic coast, blowing out windows and Uprooting trees. About 1.2 million households in France were left without electricity. Today, utility company over there said it would deploy crews to restore power once conditions are safe. The storm made its way to the UK earlier today with heavy rainfall and winds hitting the southern part of England.
