Studies: Moms Negatively Affected by Having All Girls

Interesting new research, the parents' happiness in relation to how many Children they have and whether they have boys or girls. A study out of the London School of Economics found that parents who had two Children of the same sex were more likely to go on and have a third baby. Maybe, no surprise. But the study found that having three daughters and no sons could impact a mother's satisfaction with life. The study's authors said it seemed as if mothers do not want to have too many Children of the same sex as them. They wrote that it was possible that mothers didn't want too many females in the household. And one of the authors study also said, perhaps it's due to an outdated preference for boys. What do you think about this? I, I hate to admit, I'm not very surprised by this. This is kind of, these are the kind of studies that you hear about over and over again where they do favor, you know, a certain sex or a certain number of Children. And there's so many studies now that so many people, you know, especially Genz and millennials, they're either not having kids delaying having kids or just having less kids. So, I do think this study is going to change over time. Yeah. I don't know the sample size who was, um, interviewed per se. But it is interesting. Yeah.
