And we all know dads have a big impact on their kids' lives. But a new study from the University of Leeds in the UK shows just how much it matters. The study looked at 5000 mother, father, parents and found that when fathers spent time playing, reading, drawing with their three year olds, it resulted in the kids performing better at school by ages five and seven, just 10 minutes a day was enough to make a difference. The study didn't get the chance to look at LGBT Q parents or single parents. But the positive impact was seen in kids despite gender, race or economic background.
