The study followed more than a million people in Denmark, even adjusted for things like education, income and other disorders and diseases. Some question the researchers, findings based on the lack of information like genetic data. There's also the argument that better depression treatment can also reduce dementia risk. Nutrition 2023 an annual meeting of the American Society for Nutrition. And the research showed that people who adopted at least one of these habits at age 40 added about 4.5 years to their life. They include exercise, staying away from hard drugs, like opioids, not using tobacco, managing stress, eating a plant based diet, avoiding binge drinking, getting a good night's sleep and surrounding yourself with positive relationships.
