Study: Earth In 'Very Bad Shape'

A new study looked at the health of the planet and found unfortunately, some concerning results. A group of international scientists looked at nine different areas to judge the earth's health. They call them boundaries and they included factors like climate, biodiversity, land and fresh water. The researchers found human activity has now gone past six of the nine boundaries that are important for maintaining the stability and resilience of the planet. The team used computer simulations and compared it to doing a stress test for the planet. One of the study's co authors of the analysis shows the planet is losing resilience. We're in very bad shape. The study was published in the journal Science Advances.
