The 2019 Subaru Ascent crossover made its debut at the L.A. Auto Show on Tuesday. It's the biggest vehicle ever built by the company, and Alyssa Julya Smith was on hand at the reveal. Alyssa spoke with Alan Bethke, Senior Vice President of Marketing, about the new SUV's features and highlights. The Ascent has three full rows, fits up to eight passengers, and has a 2.4-liter, turbocharged, flat-four engine that will make 260 horsepower. The Ascent will be built at the Subaru of Indiana, Inc. plant in Lafayette, Indiana, and will be sold exclusively in the North American market starting in summer 2018. The company hasn't yet announced pricing.
