Scientists have identified the oldest black hole ever dating back. A uh 13.2 billion years. Details about the black hole were published yesterday in the Journal Nature Astronomy. So for context here, the universe was created 13.7 billion years ago and this black hole was formed 470 million years after the Big Bang. Well, nasa's James Webb telescope and Chandra X Ray Observatory teamed up over the past year to study. It turns out it's 10 times bigger than the black hole found in our milky way. And it's believed to weigh anywhere from 10% to 100%. Um the mass of all stars in a galaxy. Pretty interesting. That's amazing. Yeah. As a kid, I was always fascinated with black holes and all the physics involved.
